Welcome....

WE are starting!  YEAH....

The link here is to help you.  You will need to sign up for a google account if you don't have on and then add yourself as a follower and so you can comment and share...as we START.

Wow, I am so excited.....Excited.....

A few rules, what we share here...it to help and benefit.  Only share what you want.  And we will all pledge to keep confidences and keep our opinions to ourselves...it must edify another ....

But, this is also a place to be real and to be honest....

First Assignment:  Roll Call....

1.  comment and sign in , tell where you live and your age and then your relationship to Diann... and then tell ONE really cool thing that happened to you this past week.  It can be a silly thing or a God thing..or it can be a kid story.  Please keep it brief.
2.  Then before we START this....stop and say a prayer that this opportunity will bring us closer to each other and we will gain great insight into our Heavenly Father.    Once you have done that...move to #3.
3.  On this blog, state what bothers your mind the most...just one word or a phrase..or what it on your mind.  Be brief.  It will be something we will look back on.  I would ask that no one comments on each others  #3...just read.

OK -- that is it...here we go.  I will start.

1.  Michelle Pritchard
Okeechobee Florida
Age 45...and holding.

Diann is my sissy.....'little or younger sister'

And my cool God thing...being able to START this blog and interact with all of you!  Here we go!

2.  I prayed.
Lord, here now...I have NO idea what is in store with this..but it is YOURS.  Both Dee and I wish to have a way to bond with our sisters and family and friends....so do that Lord.  I commit this adventure to YOU.  Only YOU.. may YOU be gloified. Amen.

3.  What is on my mind...well,  I am in prayer for a certain woman right now and I know God wants me to annoint her with oil and pray..sometime next week, I want the courage to do that, but the Enemy keeps telling me a bunch of stuff to get me 'scared'.

Ok - there, now it is your turn.

I've been married to Diann's brother Aaron for 21 years. Holy cats...that seems like 'forever'.

What is on my mind...the unrealistic expectations I hold myself and others accountable for....have to be reminded that I'm made new in Christ each day...er I should say, every minute of the day.

    Diann is my sister-in-law

Cool thing this week: NY kiddos greeting me with giggles and kisses when I pick them up after work.

My prayer: Dear Lord, Thank you for providing us this opportunity and journey together. Help us all to grow in faith in You. In Jesus's name, Amen

My troubles : Being consumed by stressful schedules and jobs and having little time or energy for what matters most.

  3. Well Hello to Laurie and Sue....I tired to reply directly onto your thread but the internet is being a stinker....so I will try this.

So glad we are in this together! Amen.

I just wanted to comment...what was on my mind? I DID do it...I anointed her with oil..I was so nervous and she was SO receptive and it would take a good 1/2 to then share with you all the GOOD that happened that day and the day after. AND there was more healing in my own head....just so cool. OK. Just wanted to say hello! I am sure you are both well into chapter one...Looking forward to your responses!

    Have a blessed weekend.

Brad is my cousin...so that would make Diann my cousin-in-law!;)

Cool thing this week: I am currently coaching 7th Grade girls basketball and one of my players had an "uh-huh" moment where the light bulb went on! Unfortunately this happens few and far between on our team...it has been a rough season! But we are going to keep working on it!:)

Prayer: Dear Lord, Thank you for the opportunity to come together as a group and learn through your teachings how to overcome the battles of the mind that occur daily in our lives.

Troubles: The demanding schedule of a stressful schedule and career. I am a person that likes to put my all into what I do and right now I am involved in too much and don't feel like I can truly do that with any one thing.

    1. Hello Leah -- glad to meet you. So glad you will join us on this journey.....I think the stress of schedules is something we all deal with and I pray that you will find that balance...I still..and I am 45 deal with the stress, but I will admit - it can get better; however it requires saying 'no' at times....that is hard. Again, glad to meet you - looking forward to this.
